The event started at 6:30pm and I bribed Keith to tag along to enjoy the free appetizers and drink specials. Our friend, Joe, works at the City Paper so when he sent me an invite via Facebook we thought "Hey - why not?"
It was a fun event to help decide who will be the best in 2012 and I am glad I attended to represent my blog. Carmine's was a smart choice for the City Paper to choose due to its convenient location and plentiful square footage to host the 700 or so people who attended. Classic items from the menu were served including various pastas, meatballs, cheese & meats, salads, and a mix of desserts.
We hand-wrote our votes for each of the "best" categories, but votes will also be collected online here. Voting ends March 1st, so be sure to cast your ballots for each category and please
