As favors for the guests at the surprise birthday party for Keith's parents, his sister Corrine picked up 4 dozen mixed donuts from this famous shop the night before. She packed them in individual boxes, wrapped with brown string, and a attached a note card expressing thanks to all who came. They made for the perfect little take-home treat.
I was able to snag one of the leftovers and ate it for breakfast the next morning. While they make a variety of flavors, I only tried the plain glazed donut. It was pretty dense, but in a good way and not cloyingly sweet as some other glazed donuts tend to be. While it was a little dry since it was two days old, it was still pretty good. If I drank coffee, this donut would have been a perfect companion to a hot cup of brew.
