Lark on the Park is a contemporary, urban restaurant located on the edge of Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas. Led by Chef Ryan Barnett, Lark takes exciting, seasonal cuisine that's familiar to Texans and adds a global influence.We ordered orange juice and hot tea and then I settled on the Summer Squash Omelet with goat cheese, heirloom cherry tomatoes and pesto served with a lightly dressed salad of Tassione lettuce and toast. It was light and a healthy brunch option.
Keith ordered the Lark Benedict made of Wolferman's English muffin, poached eggs, Duroc ham, hollandaise served with fried potatoes. The potatoes were plentiful and perfectly crisp.
Overall, the atmosphere was bright and charming. I would love to return for lunch someday.
