Tulip Caribbean Brasserie is a cozy a la fresco restaurant that serves delicious food at reasonable prices with friendly service. Offering a combination of Caribbean, Dutch and International Cuisine, we chose to dine here due to its close proximity to our hotel for our last dinner in Aruba.Keith started with the Homemade Fish Cakes - little fried patties made with local white fish and served with a mixed salad and remoulade sauce. The fish inside was a bit like cheap canned tuna, but was still edible.
This open air restaurant is located in another small hotel, so most of the clientele were the hotel guests. The dining room quickly filled up and the waitstaff seemed limited this evening, so service was slow. But we did not mind, as it was our last night in Aruba and we wanted to soak in as much of the Caribbean air as possible.
