Haleiwa Beach House

Haleiwa Beach House is the most scenic and relaxing restaurant in Haleiwa, on Oahu's North Shore. Boasting extensive renovations to the old Jameson's building, bringing it back to its glory days, while keeping with the country feel of this beautiful town, the restaurant is very popular for both locals and tourists alike. We went for lunch but this spot is unmatched for amazing Haleiwa sunset views.

With no reservations available (only walk-ins), we waited 35 minutes for a table, but didn't mind as we walked across the street to check out Ali'i Beach.  Once we got to our table, we were starving so happily ordered the Ahi Poke to start.  Tossed in a house sauce with sea asparagus, scallions, and sweet onions this was one of the most tasty poke we've had.

For my main course, I ordered the Island Po Boy with crispy fried shrimp, cabbage, remoulade, and fresh pickles on a hoagie roll served with fun french fries.  I devoured it all!

Keith ordered the Loco Moco - a classic Hawaiian dish of seared wagyu beef patty atop white rice smothered in a red wine demi glace topped with a fried egg and crispy potato strings.  This "fancier" version hit the spot and had great flavor.

Overall, we had a wonderful lunch at the Beach House and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service were!
