
I tried the June Daisy made with lemon, green chartreuse, and singani - a Bolivian spirit made from old muscat grapes. It was like lemonade and right up my alley.
Keith ordered a Gin Smash made with muddled lemon, mint, sugar, and gin. It was served in a cute copper mug and has a nice slushy consistency. It reminded me of a lemon mojito.
Overall, the vibe at Copycat Co. was laid back and fun. It was very crowded in the upstairs bar, while the take-out counter downstairs looked empty. But this bar is a perfect stop during your H St NE bar crawl.
