The Dabney

Chef Jeremiah Langhorne serves Mid-Atlantic cuisine at The Dabney - a rustic spot set in a former row house in Shaw's Blagden Alley. "Dedicated to the flora, fauna and fermented products of the Mid-Atlantic" the restaurant showcases locally foraged and farmed ingredients from across the region with design elements from the chef's hometown of Charleston, SC. Métier

Métier offers a seven course tasting menu plus pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres at $200 per guest (service is included).  A wine pairing is also available at $145 per guest.  Owned by acclaimed Chef Eric Ziebold and partner Célia Laurent, Métier is a small, intimate Michelin star restaurant seating only 36 guests that is tucked into the lower level of a historic brick building dating back to 1907.  The building also houses Kinship, the sister restaurant that offers an approachable à la carte menu. Tiger Fork

Tiger Fork, located n Blagden Alley, brings Hong Kong's gritty, badass culinary culture to the streets of DC. Tiger Fork melds old school Hong Kong culinary tradition with pops of global influence, pulling regional, Asian, European and Islamic flavors to their crafted menu. Executive Chef Irvin Van Oordt has created a menu that combines Hong Kong cool with flavor-packed global influence in Hong Kong classics like dim sum, Chinese BBQ, fresh tofu and chili crab. Designed by Edit lab at streetsense, Tiger Fork's 2,600 square foot space is outfitted with a 21 seat bar and an 8 seat chef's counter overlooking the open kitchen. Convivial

Convivial, defined as "relating to or fond of feasting, drinking, and good company," is also the newest restaurant in Shaw from Chef Cedric Maupillier. Convivial brings diners to a table alive with the deep and provocative history of French cooking presented in a spirit of cheer and easy exploration. A menu of fully composed, mid-size dishes looks past both the traditional entrée and the tapas-like snack, allowing guests to assemble an individual, multi-course meal or to select a variety of dishes for everyone to share. Baby Wale

Columbia Room is a cocktail bar created by Derek Brown, where the ingredients, techniques and lore of cocktails merge together to create a memorable experience.
