At Home: Buffalo Chicken Macaroni & Cheese

I also read that Denver is known for their macaroni & cheese. Interesting and fitting since I LOVE mac & cheese. I mean, who doesn't, right?  So I put a new spin on my mac & cheese recipe that was perfect for football watching, and made Buffalo Chicken Macaroni & Cheese.  Check out the other Super Bowl Snacks that we made and find the recipe on What Micky Eats...At Home.

Noodles & Company - Now with Pork

***Special Guest Post***
Somewhere in the vast spectrum of restaurants ranging from the Inn at Little Washington to McDonalds, lies Noodles & Company. The name says it all. The majority of their menu consists of noodles and pasta (which is really just noodles with an Italian accent).

At Home: Jalapeno Bacon Macaroni & Cheese

We had some left over jalapeño and Anaheim peppers from when we made chili as well as left over bacon from my breakfast quiche.  I thought it would be fun to put a twist on my classic baked macaroni & cheese dish by adding in these extra ingredients.  This Jalapeño Bacon Macaroni & Cheese dish kept us fed during Hurricane Sandy and is another great game day meal that Keith loved and I am happy to feature on What Micky Eats...At Home.

Levi's Port Café

Levi's Port Café is a nautically-themed hole-in-the-wall south of the main Barracks Row strip, just up from the Navy Yard.  Serving Southern style dinners and North Carolina BBQ that taste like they came out of a country kitchen, Levi's should not be overlooked.  The Washington Post states: "This Navy Yard-area treasure offers sweet tea and red velvet cake in addition to quality barbecue in a setting that feels as familiar as a favorite pair of jeans."  Closest Metro is Eastern Market or Navy Yard.

Whether it's noodles, pastas, salads, soups or sandwiches, Noodles has something for everyone. Made quickly and served with style, and all for around $7, this fast casual dining spot is convenient for on the go. With several locations currently in the DMV area, Noodles is expanding with 4 new locations in Falls Church, Springfield, Reston, and Chantilly set to open in Spring 2012.
