What Micky Eats...

Summary: Esca is the just right combination of Dave Pasternack's refined cooking sensibility coupled with Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich's restaurateur expertise. A winning collaboration, Dave, Mario and Joe have combined their interests and styles to showcase the food they love in a relaxed yet elegant setting. Closest Metro Station is Times Square.

We were excited to try yet another celebrity chef’s restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the service and meal despite the crowded and busy atmosphere. Several seafood items were on the menu in exotic combinations that almost lured me into trying something crazy – but I remained safe for my first experience.

What I ate:

Maccheroni alla Chittara
House made guitar cut spaghetti with sea urchin and crabmeat
