Lobster Shanty is conveniently located on Rt 54 just west of the hustle and bustle of Ocean City’s and Fenwick Island’s Coastal Highway. Owned by David and Janet Twining, the restaurant opened in July 2010, to an instant success. The Lobster Shanty secret of success is a pleasing decor, attentive staff, and an interesting menu with quality ingredients.

14 Global

The vision behind 14 Global was to bring a restaurant with flavors, textures and ingredients from around the world then fuse those flavors in a way that brought them together in a harmonious whole to the patrons of Bethany Beach, Delaware.  Small plates, or tapas, are offered to create an environment where people can share with one another all those different flavors.

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop

Lois Margolet grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, in a neighborhood known as Little Italy. Lois had a dream to open her own sandwich shop, but she knew she needed to have something unique because there was plenty of strong competition out there.  In 1976, Lois quit her full-time job, borrowed money and purchased a boarded-up building on North Union Street in Wilmington, where the original Capriotti's Sandwich Shop still stands. Their concept was to capture the hearts of "real turkey lovers," an idea that would separate Capriotti's Sandwich Shop from almost all of its competition. They wanted to roast whole fresh turkeys overnight, a concept that no other sandwich shop in the area offered.  They served sandwiches made-to-order with fresh roasted pulled turkey, the best quality meats and cheeses, and fresh rolls and produce delivered daily. Today, Capriotti's Sandwich Shops located around the country are carrying on the tradition begun in Delaware over 30 years ago.

Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats

Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Delaware is where Dogfish Head all began back in 1995. They have the state's only legal distillery where they make lots of hand-crafted spirits, upstairs in the Rehoboth Beach Brewpub, and a small experimental brewery, so they always have something interesting on tap or in the fermenters for you to try.

Stingray Sushi Bar & Asian Latino Grill

Stingray Sushi Bar & Asian Latino Grill is a more trendy restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with an eclectic menu of fusion small plates and modern twists on sushi rolls, as well as traditional Japanese fare.  With a large bar area, expect this restaurant to be packed with a younger crowd during the evenings.  Stingray is great for large groups with porch seating also available to enjoy the open air.
