In addition, I have a $50 gift certificate to dine at any Chef Geoff's or Lia's Restaurants.  With 4 locations in the DC area, you are sure to find a great meal as Chef Geoff is devoted to creating great food, libation, and merriment.  Each of his restaurants is a neighborhood institution, dedicated to the local community and clientele.  Each has its own unique personality, but three things remain constant: great food, great times, and great service.  My favorite location is Chef Geoff's Downtown, which has been featured on my Top 10 of 2009 list.  While each Chef Geoff's take a twist on the classic American fare, Lia's is the chef's take on an alluring combination of Tuscan warmth and Milanese chic, providing a New Italian Cuisine.  Some particular items that stand out to me include: Pacific Rim fish and chips, with a sweet chile sauce; black bean burger with pepper jack, jalapeno, and guacamole; and the wild mushroom ravioli. (Full menu)
Open Monday-Saturday 11:30am to 10pm; Brunch on Sunday 10:30am to 3pm; Dinner on Sunday 4pm to 10pm.  Try any of the Chef Geoff's locations for a great meal in our nation's capital!
