Le Canard

Le Canard from chef Gabriel Rucker and his partner Andy Fortgang serves “French bar food” with an emphasis on accessibility and is the sister restaurant to the more formal, Le Pigeon, located next door. Open since 2018, Le Canard has received many accolades including Best Restaurant in Portland, Oregon - so naturally, this was on our list to dine at during our visit. 

Nimblefish

 Nimblefish is a warm, cozy Japanese spot for nigiri-focused sushi plus sake, wine, beer & whiskey located in Portland, Oregon. Led by chef Cody Auger, most of the sushi is flown in directly from Japan and is celebrated for its simplicity.  We enjoyed the Omakase menu, priced at $75 per person, where the chef-selected tour featured seasonal highlights among house standards.

Screen Door

Screen Door located in Pearl District of Portland, Oregon serves southern comfort fare specializing in breakfast and brunch. Think re-designed fried chicken & waffles, thick blueberry pancakes, and praline-coated bacon.  The interior was inviting and bright from the windows, with plenty of seating outdoors as well.
