Located at the Club House overlooking the golf courses at the Wyndam Grand Rio, Iguanas Cocina Puertorriqueña serves up some of the island’s best Puerto Rican flavors. For our final dinner on the island, we took the free 5-munite shuttle over right before sunset.

Roots Coastal Kitchen offers farm-to-table Caribbean comfort food with an inspired flair from Executive Chef Ramón Carrillo in collaboration with Top Chef finalists Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth. Located in the Wyndham Grand Rio in Puerto Rico, we dined here one time for dinner and then ordered lunch from the "To-Go" offerings on another day.
Caicu Bar & Tapas
Caicu Bar & Tapas is an indoor cocktail lounge within the Wyndham Grand Rio Resort overlooking a beautiful beach bordering vibrant reefs. Alongside delectable Caribbean bar bites, guests can sip on handcrafted Bacardi cocktails, or sample a rum flight of local spirits from the rum capital of the world.

Pirilo Pizza
Pirilo Pizza is a popular pizza restaurant in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico that serves traditional Italian fare with a Puerto Rican twist. Reservations are available online, however this place tends to get super crowded with both tourists and locals, so be prepared to wait nonetheless.

Princesa Cocina Cultura
Inspired by 6 different cookbooks dating back to 1859-1950 and family recipes, Princesa Cocina Cultura is the only restaurant in Old San Juan where you'll be surrounded by trees and vegetation that make you feel the magic of the story behind the place. After exploring the nearby fort and castle, we stopped here for lunch.
Marmalade
Marmalade highlights Caribbean influences with a creative blend of eclectic and nutritionally inspired ingredients in a generous tasting menu of five courses for $129 per person with wine pairing for an additional $69. Chef-owner Peter Schintler provides a fun celebratory evening in the heart of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico in this award-winning restaurant. We dined here for an early birthday dinner and left with full bellies.

Deaverdura is an easygoing corner restaurant in a colorful space dishing up traditional Caribbean meals. Located in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, be prepared to queue up in line outside while waiting for a table. We ate here for lunch on our first full day of exploring the city.
