Located in a rustic old building, we were seated on the third floor. We ordered a bottle of red wine for $20 to share - Robert Mondavi Twin Oak, Cabernet Sauvignon. It was too good of a deal to pass up.
We shared an appetizer of Sea Pastries - turnovers filled with octopus, shrimp, & calamari. Served with aioli-pesto sauce, they were pretty tasty. The dough to filling ratio was spot on and I liked the sauce.
Keith ordered The Sin pizza with homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella, bacon, ground meat, Spanish sausage, skirt steak, ham, & Argentinian sausage. This is the meat lover's dream.
I ordered The Pink with vodka sauce, mozzarella, topped with baby spinach, pesto, & shredded pecorino Romano. It was a legit salad ON TOP of the pizza - but I loved it! It was fresh and seasoned with salt, pepper, and olive oil on the spinach, which contrasted against the sweet sauce and gooey cheese.
Overall, the pizza hit the spot and was a nice break from all the traditional Puerto Rican fare we'd been eating on this trip so far.
