Whaley's

Whaley's is an oyster bar, featuring the bounty of the neighboring rivers, bays, sea and farms that was built into the Lumber Shed at Yards Park, an historic industrial building in the Washington Navy Yard. The restaurant features a 22-seat bar and a 44-seat dining room, as well as outdoor patio seating facing the riverfront and the surrounding Yards Park.  Closest Metro is Navy Yard.

Willie's Brew and Que

Willie's Brew and Que is a BBQ restaurant and sports bar located in Yards Park, a short walk from Nationals Park. Willie's focuses on the art of low and slow barbecue cooking with charbroilers and custom-made smokers to churn out authentic North Carolina barbecue and other items with influences from across the country. The lively sports atmosphere is a favorite for local alumni groups - but I would steer clear.  Closest Metro is Navy Yard. 

Agua 301

Agua 301 celebrates the culture and cuisine of Mexico by taking contemporary Mexican cuisine and infusing it with modern flair. The chef tweaks traditional Mexican ingredients and flavor profiles through experimental ingredient combinations and serves it up waterside in Yards Park.  Though I'd recommend this place for happy hour drinks, rather than a gourmet meal.  Closest Metro is Navy Yard.

Osteria Morini

Osteria Morini is named after Chef Michael White’s mentor Gianluigi Morini, the owner and founder of acclaimed restaurant San Domenico in Imola. Located in the Yards Park area of Capitol Hill, the restaurant draws strongly from White’s personal experience in Emilia-Romagna, where he worked under Chef Valentino Marcattilii for seven years. Morini's menus offers a wide array of smaller plates and larger composed platters by Executive Chef Matt Adler.  Closest Metro is Navy Yard.
