To start, we shared the Chunky Lobster Guacamole made with fresh avocado with lots of lobster, served with pico de gallo and chips. The lobster gave a nice sweet and chunky twist to the guacamole, and overall I loved this starter.
Feeling full already, I suggested we share a sandwich. Keith chose the Hot Old Bay Lobster Roll
served with fries and cole slaw. This Northeastern sammy had a Eastern Shore twist with the Old Bay. Sometimes I find the seasoning to be overpowering, but it was just right on this sandwich. The roll was nice and buttery as well.
The ambience and service was so pleasant and relaxing, that truly elevated our lunch experience. I highly recommend stopping at the Lobster Shanty if you're in the area.
