Total Rating: 3.7

Summary: Located in heart of Georgetown, at The Georgetown Inn, this Daily Grill is the third to be opened in the Washington, D.C. area. It features a spacious bar, cozy booths and features great American food. Closest Metro is Foggy Bottom.

We stopped in for lunch and although it was a little crowded with the brunch crowd and families, we were able to get in and out in about 30 minutes. The food was decent, large portions, with fresh ingredients. I ordered fruit with my sandwich and Keith ordered the peanut cole slaw with his. The other option was french fries. Other items of interest for lunch include the various salads, soups, as well as hot entrees and fish specials. The Daily Grill is a decent chain restaurant for the masses.

What I ate:

California Turkey Melt

Peppered Turkey Breast with Jack Cheese and Avocado,

Served with a Cranberry Tomato Chutney on Sourdough

Plus Keith ate:

Cobb Club Sandwich

Grilled Chicken Breast, Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon, Avocado, Scallions

and Bleu Cheese Mayo served on Toasted Sourdough
