UPDATE: On this gorgeous and unseasonably warm Fall day, we headed out to the Taste of DC and here is a short summary of what I ate with 22 tickets (we accidentally used 2 of our drink tickets for food). I highly recommend you go earlier in the day, as it will get crowded fast. Make a loop around to scope out all the booths first to see what food peaks your interest, as some places offer similar items with better deals than others. For those interested in the beer and wine pavilion - separate alcohol tickets are required and Keith's suggests you hit up the Mad Fox booth as they offer the largest samples (3 oz) for only 1 ticket or a full beer for 5 tickets.
What I ate:
2 Fried Oysters with Remoulade Sauce (2 tickets)
Blackbyrd
Macaroni and Cheese (2 tickets)
3 pieces of California Roll (1 ticket)
Shrimp Roll (2 tickets)
Mini Donuts
half dozen mini donuts with powdered sugar (2 tickets)
half dozen mini donuts with powdered sugar (2 tickets)
Plus Keith ate:
Half Smoke with Chili Sauce (2 tickets)
Pork Belly BLT (3 tickets)
