The line at Box Frites was much shorter than the other stands. I chose the large box of regular Belgian-style frites as opposed to the garlic and Parmesan coated frites. They were large golden-brown fries that are crisp on the outside and pillowy-soft inside. With just a hint of salt, they are good on their own but much better with one of the dipping sauces. Choose from chipotle ketchup, ballpark mayo, smoke bacon aioli, blue cheese, or rosemary ranch. I went with the bacon aioli and bacony it was. The portion was generous and worth the $8, with plenty for three people to share. Keith ordered the Box Frites Dog - a fresh to order regular beef hot dog to which he added mustard. Overall, the food was better than average ballpark food and the staff at Box Frites were extremely friendly and polite. Next time I might try one of the fruit hand pies.
