Potbelly "FLATS" + Popchips

*Sponsored Post
We were invited to Potbelly’s new FLATS "first taste" event at the Litwin Potbelly shop, which is within walking distance to the D.C. Court House, museums, and the National Mall.  Closest Metro is Archives-Navy Memorial.

We sampled some of the new FLATS sandwiches made with thin multigrain bread that allows you to better taste all the flavorful hand-sliced meats, cheeses, and ingredients.

First, I tried the Mediterranean made with zippy hummus, Feta, artichoke hearts, cucumbers, and roasted red peppers.  This sandwich was pretty filling for a vegetarian option.

Keith enjoyed The Wreck made with salami, roast beef, turkey, ham, and Swiss cheese.  He has ordered this sandwich with the regular bread many times, but found the FLATS to be just as satisfying even though it has 90 calories less than the original preparation.

We also sampled smaller bites of other classic sandwiches in the new FLATS option.  Keith tried the Italian - a classic sammy of Capicola, Mortadella, pepperoni, salami, and Provolone cheese and the more plain Turkey with Swiss cheese.

I ended with a warm Grilled Chicken & Cheddar that was topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.

We also got to sample the new Frozen Raspberry Lemonade, which will be available starting this June.  It was very sweet with just a hint of tartness from the lemon.

Popchips samples were in house too, and paired perfectly with the thin sandwiches.  Since the Popchips are thin and airy, and packed with plenty of flavor themselves, I was totally #FlattenedByFlavor at this Potbelly FLATS "First Taste" event.

FLATS sandwiches will be available at your local Potbelly shop starting May 6, 2014.  You can also check out a preview at a FLATS "First Taste" event in your neighborhood on May 5.  Tell your friends and register at potbelly.com/FLATSOpenHouse.
