Seeing our frustration, the cashier suggested he try the meatballs. Expecting to be the same as the golombki filling, he agreed. However, the meat was a bit different and the tomato sauce also had other spices than he was used to. Not his favorite dish. It came with a side of boiled potatoes covered in fresh dill.
Though I did not get to eat anything myself, the restaurant/cafeteria was pretty popular. I can see how they might run out of the familiar dishes early. Keith's entire meal, including our drinks, came out to about $7. There are many similar cafeterias all over the city, so check it out if you are looking for a casual place to eat lunch.
