Lesley Riley, also known as Mama Biscuit, makes fresh gourmet biscuits with the finest ingredients and no added preservatives. Her trademark are adorable heart-shaped biscuits, in a variety of sweet and savory combinations - "always made with love!"
Lesley contacted me to sample her biscuits, and I was happy to do so. She delivered them to me on a cold rainy evening, and they were still warm and wrapped up in super cute purple packaging.
She noted they are best served warm (just pop in the microwave for 15 seconds), or at room temperature. If you don't want to eat them right away, the biscuits can be frozen up to 6 months, but should only be thawed and re-frozen once.
Later, we shared the Chocolate Meets Salty that was topped with caramel drizzle and bourbon smoked sea salt. The dark chocolate flavor was intense throughout the dough, and not too sweet providing a satisfying dessert. I loved the contradiction of salt against the caramel.

The biscuits stayed fresh in the refrigerator for a couple days, and were easy to take out and heat up in the microwave whenever we wanted. The heart-shaped biscuits would also be great to cater for a brunch party like a bridal shower or baby shower. Contact Mama Biscuit directly to place your order.
