Einstein's

Einstein's is a full-service restaurant popular for brunch in the Midtown area of Atlanta, GA. Keith and I stopped here to fill up before spending the day at Music Midtown, a music festival taking place a couple blocks away in Piedmont Park.  We sat outside on the patio to enjoy our brunch, along with a crowd of other festival goers and locals looking to enjoy a mimosa.

I ordered the Green Omelette with pesto, mozzarella, and tomato, topped with sliced fried green tomato and basil aioli.  It was served with a side of sweet potato fries.  The omelette was delicious and very satisfying.  It was a like a caprese with a Southern twist.  My fries were cold, but I still munched on them to fill up my tummy.  A buttery biscuit also came with my dish, which I nibbled on at the end.

Keith ordered a special of the day - Steak Benedict made with 4 oz of filet, served with a side of pepper jack grits that were also cold, and a little gummy.  The steak was seasoned okay and pretty standard.  There was nothing special about this 'special' though.

Nevertheless, the service was decent and the location was prime for where we were headed for the day.  The price was reasonable as well.
