Jordan Lobster Farms is one of the premier seafood restaurants in Nassau County offering the highest quality seafood with the best customer service. Dine by the waterfront, on the outdoor patio, or in the newly expanded indoor dining room - which is open all year round. Visit the lobster market inside and choose from a large selection of fresh seafood, prepared gourmet dishes, and gift items.
We stopped for lunch on this gorgeous, yet super windy day and sat on the outdoor patio. They also have a cute bar area on a side pier open for Happy Hour specials.
We ordered
Baked Clams and a
Bucket of Steamers to start. The clams were chopped up and baked with seasoned breadcrumbs, while the steamers were served in a light briny vegetable broth with a side of melted butter. The steamed clams were sweet but a little too mushy for my liking. However, Keith loved them as he grew up with this style here in Long Island.
Keith chose the
Maine Lobster Roll served with mayo, on a toasted roll with french fries and pickle. The claw meat was prevalent, and overall the a great summer sandwich.
I ordered the warm version -
Connecticut Lobster Roll served with butter, on a toasted roll with french fries and pickle. I found my lobster chunks to be more dry and preferred Keith's version better.
Lastly, we shared a small serving of
Jordan's Homemade Key Lime Pie. It was not that tart, nor sweet, but provided a nice finish to our meal.
Service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Had it been less windy, we would have loved to walk around the waterfront area more. I imagine the afternoon bar parties are fun with live music and great drink/food specials.
