Blu Crabhouse & Raw Bar

Blu Crabhouse & Raw Bar is a family owned restaurant that brings visitors and locals familiar Eastern Shore fare with a unique, eclectic flair. It's a great downtown location within walking distance of Ocean City’s famous boardwalk, and overlooking beautiful sunsets on the bay. There are Ocean City favorites on the menu–the dishes you look forward to enjoying every time you visit the beach. Steamed Maryland blue crabs, shrimp, clams, and crab cakes as well as some new twists on the traditions using innovative ingredients and seasonings. The Raw Bar has a rotating oyster selection with everything from Chincoteague's to Blue Points. Also try on of the unique specialty drinks or draft beer featuring local microbrews and a rotating selection of craft beer specials. Dine outside on the deck or on the beach for a casual, fun, delicious dining experience.

Keith wanted to get the All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feast - a staple in Maryland during the summer.  Here, he ordered package #2 for just under $50 including blue crabs, steamed shrimp, fried chicken, Cheddar Bay Biscuits, corn, and mac & cheese wedges. 

You can order it with or without Old Bay seasoning.  The crabs were on the smaller size, so he easily ate about a dozen.  The fired chicken was also very tasty, but the mac & cheese wedges were pretty bland, so he avoided them so as not to fill up.

I ordered a class Crab Cake Sandwich served on a round roll with lettuce and tomato, and a side of  kettle chips.  The crab cake was very moist and satisfying.  The only challenge is that I finish my meal well before Keith finishes his crabs.  But the outdoor ambience was delightful on this sunny day, that I didn't mind lounging sipping on my iced tea.
