This was the first truck I wanted to hit up at Trucko de Mayo and for empanadas at $3.50 each, was not a bad deal to begin with. The empanadas were piping hot and the "wrapper" was deep fried that it looked like a thick wonton. The filling was plentiful and full of flavor compared to other empanadas I have had. The Cubanito had nice sweet heat from the spicy guava sauce and the El Greco had nice tang from the Feta cheese. I really enjoyed these and would love to try the other flavor combinations, as they had many non-traditional options.
