Dining Out for Life

*Sponsored Post
In 1991, Dining Out For Life was created by an ActionAIDS volunteer in Philadelphia and is now an annual dining fundraising event raising money for AIDS service organizations. Dining Out For Life is produced in 60 cities throughout the United States and Canada. More than 3,000 restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds from this one special day of dining to the licensed AIDS service agency in their city. Make a reservation for Thursday, April 24th and make a difference!

Don't miss Food & Friends' 18th annual Dining Out For Life DC! On Thursday, April 24th, more than 100 participating restaurants in DC, MD and VA will donate 25-100% of sales to Food & Friends' life-saving services.  Eateries from Hyattsville to Shirlington, from Dupont Circle to Georgetown are in support of more than 2,900 people in the community who benefit from the organization's nutrition services.

Grab your family and friends and make plans to dine out for lunch and dinner at participating locations on April 24th.  Last year, more than 25,000 diners, restaurants and volunteers participated in Dining Out for Life, raising more than $225,000 to support Food & Friends' mission.

Food & Friends is the only nonprofit organization in the Washington, DC area providing daily, home-delivered, specialized meals, groceries and nutrition counseling to individuals who are battling HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses. The funds raised through Dining Out For Life allow Food & Friends to continue to provide these critical services at NO COST to clients.

Pledge to DINE OUT on Thursday, April 24th, for Dining Out for Life and you could win a $50 gift card to a participating restaurant. Thank you for dining out on this day!
