Summary: Rated as one of San Diego’s best Sushi spot, Ra is was recommended by several people and was promised to be very popular. Went for dinner with a large group on a Friday night – and the wait was almost 2 hours long. It was crowded and pumping with hip music and atmosphere inside, with barely any standing room even at the bar. So we opted to put our name on the list and go down the street to another bar to wait until our table was ready. Glad we waited though, because the sushi was great – and apparently so were the sake bombs (Happy Birthday, Erin!). It was very busy and took a while to get our order and then the check, but it was cool to experience. The sushi was up to par with any other place, so I may not need to go back to Ra any time soon.
What I ate:
Edamame
California Roll
Spicy Tuna Roll
Rainbow Roll
Shrimp Tempura Roll
Spicy Yellowtail Roll
