Tommy's Coal Fired Pizza

Tommy’s Coal Fired Pizza revives and carries on the “Old World” art of making pizza.  Every pizza is baked in a Coal Fired Oven at temperatures up to 1000 degrees, these temperatures produce a flavorful and crispy crust that is unmatched by any other oven.
Using only the finest ingredients available, at Tommy’s the crust stands firm, the mozzarella melts exquisitely and the basil is wildly fresh.  Offering friendly service, in a relaxed environment where families can enjoy great food, Tommy's also serves coal fired roasted wings, salads, and entrees.

We were up in Red Bank visiting a friend in support of her charity event, and after a long day out at the tracks, we headed nearby to Tommy's for dinner.  Considering we were such a large group, the service was decent. Food took a little long to come out, but once it did every had smiles on their faces and dived right in.  The first bite of our pizza sent alarms from the hot spicy peppers. We must have overlooked that when ordering, because it was incredibly almost unbearably spicy. I was so hungry that I forced my self to finish a couple pieces, where as we sent other pieces down the table for others to try.  They all felt "dared" to take a bite and were soon sorry they did. We recommend Tommy's highlight the spicy factor of the Carlito's Way pizza a little more, as it was not apparent. Nevertheless, Tommy's is a hit with the locals and it was nice to see they offered gluten free products.
