With no reservations available (only walk-ins), we waited 35 minutes for a table, but didn't mind as we walked across the street to check out Ali'i Beach. Once we got to our table, we were starving so happily ordered the Ahi Poke to start. Tossed in a house sauce with sea asparagus, scallions, and sweet onions this was one of the most tasty poke we've had.
Keith ordered the Loco Moco - a classic Hawaiian dish of seared wagyu beef patty atop white rice smothered in a red wine demi glace topped with a fried egg and crispy potato strings. This "fancier" version hit the spot and had great flavor.
Overall, we had a wonderful lunch at the Beach House and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service were!
