DC Restaurants with the Best Ambience

I use a weighted scale to rate five different categories when I review a restaurant.  The most important factor is of course the food; followed by price, service, ambience, and accessibility of the restaurant.  It is not just about the best scenic view - the overall décor, atmosphere, and general vibe of the restaurant are also critical factors to help set the mood for a wonderful night out.  Below are the DC restaurants who received my highest ambience score so far this year.

Best Service by DC Restaurants

I use a weighted scale to rate five different categories when I review a restaurant.  The most important factor is of course the food; followed by price, service, ambience, and accessibility of the restaurant.  The first and final impression made by a restaurant is seen in the quality of the service by the staff.  From the initial greeting to answering questions about the menu to overall helpfulness to guests is crucial for a restaurant in order to provide the most enjoyable time of patrons in their establishment.  Paying attention to details stands a restaurant apart from others and giving genuine service keeps customers coming back.  Below are the DC restaurants who received my highest service score so far this year.

Rasika West End

The newest of Ashok Bajaj’s restaurant empire, Rasika West End, is a sophisticated modern bar and restaurant serving exotic cocktails along with an extensive wine list to complement the traditional and modern Indian cuisine. The stunning interior complements the modern dining room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking M Street, and provides an open and airy space and lovely backdrop for the talented Executive Chef Vikram Sunderam, recent RAMMY award winner for Best Chef of the Year.  Closest Metro is Foggy Bottom.
