We went for an early dinner and enjoyed a pitcher of red sangria with various tapas on the patio. The Pan con Tomate with olive oil, Jamón Serrano, and Manchego was so delicious. I've made my own version at home, but this looked too good to pass up and really hit the spot.
The Grilled Seasonal Mushrooms with olive oil and sea salt had wonderful earthy flavors and added texture from the bread crumbs on top. The Gambas al Ajillo were piping hot in garlic, piri-piri peppers and olive oil.
We also enjoyed the light and fluffy Tortilla Española with potato, onion and egg. Lastly, we shared the Pulpo a la Gallega - seared octopus with potatoes and smoked paprika. The octopus was tender and the potatoes were filling.
Everything was very tasty and authentic, and came out fast. There were many other items on the menu that we'd love to try on our next visit. Bodegon is another welcomed addition to our neighborhood!
